2024 Frankfurt Shanghai Auto Parts Exhibition focuses on the forefront and injects continuous momentum into the high-quality development of the industry

Automechanika Shanghai 2024 will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from December 2 to 5. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the exhibition, the theme of “Innovation, Integration and Sustainable Development” was proposed, paying close attention to and comprehensively reflecting the profound impact of technological innovation on industrial development, integrating the deep resources of the global industrial chain accumulated over the years, and building an efficient service platform integrating information exchange, industry promotion, trade services and industrial education for participants at home and abroad, promoting the green, low-carbon and sustainable development of the automotive industry.

According to reports, since its first launch in 2004, the exhibition has witnessed the rapid development of China’s automobile industry, which has deeply integrated into the global market, ranked first in the world in vehicle production and sales, and increased the import and export scale of parts and components year by year. Today, the technology of intelligent networked new energy vehicles continues to innovate, and the consumer car use scenarios are becoming increasingly diversified and segmented. The automobile industry has entered a competitive development stage of comprehensive strengths such as brand, technology, supply chain, and service.

This year’s exhibition scale reached 350,000 square meters, bringing together more than 6,700 exhibitors from around the world. The exhibition covers the research and development, manufacturing, circulation, and service links in the fields of parts, new energy and intelligent network, supplies and modifications, maintenance equipment and tools, tires and wheels in the automotive industry chain. At the same time, the parts remanufacturing and digital solutions/industry service areas will deeply reflect the key role of circular economy and digitalization in the transformation and development of the industry. There will be more than 2,000 exhibitors at the exhibition site, and their products will involve the new energy field. In addition to traditional fuel systems and components, innovative products and technologies in the new energy and intelligent network industry chain will also be unveiled on the same stage. Among them, the new energy and intelligent network connection section has an exhibition scale of 26,000 square meters, bringing together more than 450 exhibitors, fully displaying green and advanced product technologies and solutions such as three-electric systems and components, fuel cells, charging and swapping, automatic driving, intelligent chassis and cockpit, new energy vehicle thermal management, and new materials.

As for the exhibition group, the power battery and energy storage industry in Changzhou, Jiangsu has developed rapidly in recent years. For the first time, it comprehensively displayed new energy vehicles, power batteries, photovoltaic energy storage, charging and swapping facilities and their accessories in an overall image; it brought together many leading companies such as Honeycomb Energy, China Innovation Aviation, Star Charging, Huapeng, Fisher, and Haowan New Energy to present the innovative achievements of its new energy industry chain. In addition, the Longquan Automobile Parts and Thermal Management Industry Association organized 11 local companies to display a series of thermal management-related products and system solutions. As an annual participant in the exhibition, the German exhibition group will organize more than 20 overseas companies to re-enter Hall 2.1. In addition to brand companies in the parts and warranty fields such as BASF and Maha, SEG Automotive brings leading high-voltage electric drive system products and technologies.

Parts and other product areas will also focus on presenting products and services of the entire automotive industry chain. Among them, Bosch will take accessories, diagnosis, services, and sustainability as the exhibition theme, and meet the personalized needs of different maintenance station partners through ERP, social media, Bosch Easy+ one-stop maintenance station applet, etc. Finia will bring hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen internal combustion engine GDi technology, etc.; SAT will bring electric drive system products with torque vector distribution; ZF will present intelligent chassis and digital related products in a modular form; Hang Lung Group will make its debut at the exhibition, bringing common steering system products that meet the needs of intelligent driving and advanced functions.

In the field of repair and maintenance, Launch Technology will focus on displaying the latest products and technologies for new energy vehicles and artificial intelligence diagnosis. In the tire and wheel sector, Zhongce Rubber Group, which is participating in the exhibition for the first time, will bring Chaoyang No. 1 EVPRO series of high-end new energy tires. Through a number of patented technologies, it has achieved super quiet, super grip, super energy saving, and advanced and exquisite powerful performance, meeting the various performance requirements of new energy vehicle owners for tires.
